MSL perkenal dua logo baru Liga Malaysia
Logo baru Liga Super (kiri) dan Liga Perdana (kanan) yang baru diperkenalkan FAM untuk musim 2012-2014.Liga Super dan Liga Premier dalam Liga Malaysia masing-masing mendapat logo baru bagi musim 2012-2014.
Dalam satu kenyataan hari ini, Malaysia Super League Sdn Bhd (MSL), berkata logo itu diilhamkan daripada bentuk ‘Play’, yang lazimnya ditemui dalam semua peranti permainan media.
“Kedua-dua logo direka khas sejajar dengan tujuan asal bola sepak itu sendiri iaitu ‘Play’ (Bermain).
“Bentuk ‘Play’ telah diolah dan diaplikasikan ke dalam logo, mewujudkan satu bentuk untuk menyokong elemen lain yang mewujudkan kelainan antara setiap logo,” kata MSL, sebuah entiti yang bertindak sebagai sayap komersial bola sepak Malaysia.
Kenyataan itu menyebut logo Liga Super dibentuk daripada imejan piala Liga Super itu sendiri yang menunjukkan bahagian atas piala di mana bola diletakkan di atas menara berbentuk bintang yang membawa maksud liga bola sepak terulung di negara ini.
Kombinasi warna biru gelap dan putih mewakili makna perpaduan serta prestij liga berkenaan.
Bagi logo Liga Premier, bola yang dipaparkan bertujuan menyerlahkan makna pergerakan bola sepak.
“Bentuk bola yang sedang bergerak direka untuk mewujudkan satu kisah tentang perjalanan ke arah pengiktirafan dalam sukan bola sepak bemula di sini. Warna hitam dan kuning dipilih sebagai warna rasmi tanda kesepakatannya dengan badan dan pasukan negara,” kata kenyataan itu lagi.
MSL berkata jenis fon yang digunakan adalah unik dan direka khusus untuk disesuaikan dengan ciri-ciri yang mempunyai persamaan dengan belang harimau.
Logo Astro diletakkan ke dalam logo liga sebagai pemegang hak komersial mereka dan logo penaja yang baru mungkin menggantikan logo Astro sekiranya ada mana-mana rakan kongsi selanjutnya yang turut serta sebagai pemegang hak.
Liga Premier akan bermula pada 9 Jan manakala Liga Super pula sehari kemudian. - BERNAMA

MSL introduces two new logo Malaysian League

In a statement today, the Malaysian Super League Sdn Bhd (MSL), said the logo was inspired by the form of 'Play', which is commonly found in all media gaming device.
"The two specially designed logo in line with the original purpose of soccer itself the 'Play' (Play).
"The form 'Play' has been formulated and applied to the logo, creating a form to support the other elements that create a difference between each logo," said MSL, an entity that acts as the commercial wing of Malaysian football.
The statement said the Super League logo images are formed from the Super League trophy itself that shows the top of the cup where the ball is placed on the star-shaped towers, which means the top football league in the country.
A combination of dark blue and white represent the meaning of unity and prestige league.
For the Premier League logo, ball movement displayed seeks to highlight the meaning of football.
"Shape of a moving ball is designed to create a story of the journey towards recognition in football commenced here. The yellow and black is selected as the official color of signs MoU with the body and the national team, "the statement said.
MSL said the type of font used is unique and customized to suit the characteristics in common with tiger stripes.
Astro logo logo placed in the league as their commercial rights holder and promoter of the new logo may replace the Astro logo if there's any further partners who participated as a right holder.
